Intelligent Hair Transplant Technology
Artas Robotic Hair Transplant is an FDA-cleared system that uses physician-assisted robotic technology to perform follicular unit extraction (FUE), a technique that involves harvesting individual donor hairs and meticulously placing them in areas of hair loss to stimulate new growth.
The device relies on an algorithm that identifies hairs that are ideal for transplanting and then harvests them, without leaving linear scars. The technology also maps out hairlines and other thinning areas, predetermining the recipient sites for grafted hairs prior to implantation. The harvested donor follicles can then be transplanted robotically, one by one, into balding, thinning, or receding areas.
