Non-surgical options for Hair Restoration:

 DeRive is a plant-based exosome. Is a complete set of active plant based secretory factors and the latest bio-based, patented technology specifically formulated for hair & scalp health. 

 Exosome therapy may begin promoting natural hair growth in as little as two to three months. New hair growth can continue over the course of a year, with the most noticeable results usually being seen six months after treatment has been administered. 

DeRive Hair Restoration is a 4 months program. During months 1,2 and 3 the patient receives an office treatment composed of: 

• Step 1:    Exfoliation and vacuum clean of hair follicles with AquaFirmeX Machine
• Step 2:    Topical application of DeRive exosomes on area to be treated
• Step 3:    Ultrasound scalp therapy to help the exosomes penetrate deep into the scalp 
• Step 4:    Massage the area treated to promote blood flow and better absorption of the exosomes.

During the first treatment the patient is given with an in-home use DeRive Kit containing 20 vials to be applied on the scalp twice a day. This kit is included at no extra cost in the deRive Hair Restoration Program. Additional DeRive in-home Kits can be purchased at office if the patient desire to continue using the product at home. 

The patient returns six month after first treatment for what is considered a maintenance treatment. This is the 4th treatment included in the DeRive program. After that the patient is suggested to keep on receiving a single maintenance treatment every six months.

  Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is blood plasma that is rich in platelets. PRP is rich in growth factors, so when PRP is applied to the scalp it can contribute to hair growth.  

After PRP is made, it is injected into the scalp where the hair is thinning, so it can trigger the body's natural healing instincts. 

Research indicates that PRP promotes hair growth by stimulating hair follicle stem cells. The platelet growth factors induce follicle stem cells to shift from a dormant state to an active state, and that starts the process of hair production.

PRP for hair restoration is best for patients whose hair is starting to thin.

 Patients who have active infection on the scalp, diabetes, and are on blood thinning medications are not good candidates for PRP.
